Reflection #37

 My personal reflection on this project That I have worked on for the past year is that it honestly can be hard to a certain extent because if you leave thing to the last minute It can complicate certain things such quality result.

Although I did my project with a couple of day before deadline. I still feel is not as good as could have been,also the fact that I have been in two groups one with Tyler which was the longest one in my opinion In which we got to record but our schedule problems Made me  separate from him as well as Samuel but his idea was that the his original Idea was not of my liking.

Overall The experience of doing my own film can be stressing because thing do not end up as what you imagine them to be which causes you doubt if its any good what you are doing.

If someone asks me if I want to do it again I will say sure why note, because for some of the film I have done I can tell you some part were fun some were not. Honestly the worst part about the project was writing this blogs because personally I do not enjoy writing in any way shape or form.

Video credits #36

 Late minute thing I find that I have to add credits to the video beside the name of the film. Which I am going to have to do. For the credits I learned from a YouTube video that my social media teacher gave the class and which explains what we have to do 

 which lets me understand how credits are used and their importance. Which is that they acknowledge and give recognition to everyone that worked in that film. Another reason could be because of legal reasons and many other things such as future opportunities for actors and directors and copyright and licensing.

 For this PowerPoint I explain and answer the other two main questions which are how did your production your production skill mature or evolved through the production process like or dislikes if I has change my perspective on the future and four through five  different skill you have learned during production process. Also to consider career choices.

and the last question of the four and is how did Implement technology into this project. Such the internet and movie research, WordPress or others sites such as YouTube which from now I can say it has been a great help and other things as

well to consider is to I should details about the music I used in the video and adding or suggesting music that might work for the film instrumental process.

ccr planing production #34

 Since I have the idea of answering  the four questions in two separate videos two for each CCR's. Which lead me to ask my self which question do I want to answer first or last.

So for my first video I am doing an interview, in which I will change shirts and change the camera and also add hat to the interviewer to ask the question and add extra questions to the topic.

Also when I first started my media studies class I though it was going to be a video explaining the process in video format. Now I have to a PowerPoint presentation and do a voice over  to that video which makes my life easier than what previously though which lets create a video with a better quality and furthermore let me get a better result 

In this PowerPoint I will answers the first two questions which are how does your product use or challenge convections and how does it represents social groups or issues. which has two parts to answer which are if your film is a certain type of genre and how does it fit or not the typical standards for that type of genre. The other part of the question is how does your film represent social groups or issues. 

The next question that I will answer is the how does my product engaged with the audiences and how it would distributed to the as real media form. Which also has two part one of them being how the project get the audience attentions and make them stay and what will make people say wow. The next part of the question is to how would the movie how will it be produced and distributed and marked.

 My fourth idea is to make a

flashback sequence which will combine essential film explanations with the responses needed for the four questions. The planned structure would deliver essential details to viewers while enriching the overall story through its look at previous critical story points. The story's flashback mechanism works as an important plot tool which lets viewers actively reconstruct essential information through cinematic means.

This flashback design would display an active structure which would alternate between varying time periods for revealing essential details. The scenes would unveil the plot through fractured sequences which would develop one after another in a way that builds suspense. During key moments the protagonist thinks back to previous occasions that reveal various underestimated details of the narrative. By following this nonlinear method the film would become both more engrossing and intellectually stimulating.

CCR idea(#2) #32

 the second idea I have is the behind the scene of the film.

A behind-the-scenes documentary-style skit functions as my second creation idea for presenting a humorous take on film production. The skit would decline to mimic particular scenes from movies while focusing on over-the-top representation of movie production philosophy and the passionate yet chaotic elements of filmmaking. The plan is to combine genuine production elements with comedic aspects to make viewers experience creative interactions along with comic relief.

an example of this is to show a fake a behind the scene tour with humorous moments like the crew arguing about the most random thing. and then show a the scene and giving a voice over.  

CCR idea(#1) #31

For the first CCR I have an idea which is that the like the daily life of the director, and explain why some of the problems I had during the production of the movie. Or express one of the main issues to this problem.

For this I can show myself struggling for one of the difficult scenes and show the struggles of a director and actor of the movie, as well as the problems of deciding to do my film in solo.  Also thing such as the weather or external sounds for example since  I am recording in my house for most of the scene you could hear when the washer was on or if my dog was barking multiple issues that the film reviewer does not consider. Another thing would be the part of this CCR is the four question that I have to answer which I would do two in each video.

editing # 30

Today I dedicated my time to developing the transitions in my rough draft in order to create a polished version. During this initial round of editing I understood that the existing version of the film reveals its unpolished nature. My project requires further improvement in multiple areas including the area of transitional structures along with pacing and narrative unity. These elements require improvement to build an engaging visual presentation that will yield a better final outcome.

I am aware that formal editing needs to be completed along with additional video recording since my current version requires extensive changes. To achieve my vision in every part of the film I will test multiple editing tools and programs for optimal results. I will test various visual effects by utilizing DaVinci Resolve in combination with Microsoft Clipchamp. Different editing software will help me build new artistic perspectives which will improve my storytelling and visual design capabilities.

I aim to develop another version of the film and test different approaches to determine which style will result in the best possible outcome. These efforts will help me figure out necessary modifications with specific instructions to enhance project quality. The remaining focus for me is directed towards Creative Critical Reflections (CCR) moving forward. The analysis through creative critical reflection will provide me with an opportunity to demonstrate my creative choices and the challenges I faced and my solutions during the filmmaking period. This approach helps me grasp my work better so I can produce a high-quality final product that takes full advantage of thoughtful execution.

editing # 29

 Today were editing the first half of the recording or most of it because I want to see if I have to fix anything so today, I will try to finish most of it because I am tired of the recording process. Probably tomorrow will be the day that I finish the editing.

I used Cap Cut for the editing I try using different angles and frames. However the most difficult part of this was  adding the videos together so that the film makes sense which is going to the toughest part of the editing process. 

I have watched some editing videos on YouTube to help me use Cap Cut in a better way to make. To generated a better result.

to wrap it up for editing today, took the best takes and mix them up together to have the best possible results, and adding some transitions because the film has some dialogue but will focus on the overall finding of the dog and him randomly disappearing.

last production # 28

 This was what I think is the last day of production today I film the rest of movie which I will call probably  Don't lose it meaning that I should not lose the dog that appears as a gift outside of my house. This was when I filming me putting the dog down and trying to find something for him to eat at the fridge.

Then Rocky disappears and I do not find him and I look for him in first person. I really fell I should rerecord most of this production day, because I think I should find better ways to show that I am looking for a dog.

At the end of this day I am going to edit and if I find that theirs is anything to change it will be done during the editing phase of the movie.

 Second day of production or next production. I record my production, today I recorded the parts of me finding the surprise that the letter was talking about. Which ended up being a dog( my dog ). this day was in my opinion the hardest part because, I had to get my mom to stay with the dog outside to maintain my dog calm. Then she help me record some of it.

This day prove to be the hardest because my dog was not cooperating with me when it comes to staying calm but that was because he was happy, or wanted to play. 

At the ended it took multiple take to get one a good take, which is due to rocky being, a little to exited. 

Production(1) #26

 my first official production by my self was interesting. first since separating from tyle I did not explain what my idea was which is which the idea is I am going to go do an errand and, I look at the piece of furniture near the door looking for my keys, which I remember I left at the table Infront of the TV and I find my key on top of a card.Which I read and I repeat open the door, and you will find and surprise and do not lose it, which I repeat as I open the door and find a dog( which is my dog Rocky). I close the door and then I open it again to see if i was sure that it was a dog then I see a note next to him that says his name is rocky. I let him inside he follows me inside the house I go to look to find something to feed him and I lose him I look everywhere until I found him laying on the coach under a blanket.

I started recording and so far so good is the first recording session so, I am going to film me going to get the keys and finding the letter. I hope it turns out good. I am going to keep the cloths I were the same. Also since today I took a shower before recording meaning that my hair is wet. Therefore I am going to have to record with my hair wet, so I looks like the days have not passed.

Also I might change the script I think the blanket idea might not work.

Separation #25

 After working with Tyler for most of the project. I decide to separate from him, and do my project by myself. Me and Tyler have been having schedule issues, and one we need to record it was raining which was not his fault, I call and said that the deadline day was getting closer and that I was sorry but I need to do the project. It was not his fault, and both of us need to get that done so that day I started my production.

After ending the call with Tyler I started to have some ideas to make my film interesting and simple to be able to make it at home. also the lack of help was going to be a challenge but, I think I can make it happen, and have a good film.

Helping Samuel #24

 I recently helped Samuel a friend of mine record and I got some ideas that my work for the film me and Tyler are working own. Although Tyler could not help Samuel because he was not available, I went to help and had a goodtime. Samuel wanted to record in the library where U medias was because of the resources available for his recording session.

Samuel at the time of meeting did not really had an idea so we brainstormed together and got him an idea. His idea was him losing his phone after seeing something he dislike and them a random call happened but he was not there to see his phone when he came back his phone was gone and he started to look for his phone until he founded in a random location in the library.

Which gave an Idea and let to an event that was going to happen soon because of many reasons. 

Couldn't record #23

 Today, march 9th it was going to be a recording day for me and Tyler, and today we were not able to record for the fact that our main helper Anthony was not available today. Tyler and I have not recorded in two weeks because of the simple fact that I explained furtherly in a previous blog. In which I explain how went through a small surgery and afterwards I got stiches and physical activities were a big no.

So short and basic we could not record today, which has affected us in a big way. That is due to me and Tyler being behind on many things such as blogs, and productions time which both correlate in the fact that we need more blogs, and we need to record for our project to get those blogs done. Personally we are really behind because their is a the deadline for all the blogs on march 31st and need a total of 40 and I only have 23 counting this blog.

to summarize everything, we need to a lot of work
