Setting the Scene #4

     A scene is the place were things are happening. My media studies teacher gaves the task of greatin a scene. At first I did not know what to make and the I thought of plane landing on the water that could be a good idea. Later i thought that was to simple so i put a fighter jet taking donw a plane in the ocean. Then i placed a island so that the survivers of the plane crash swim to the island. The idea was a good one Until i thought of making the lives of the survivors of the plane crash miserable so i placed a megalodon in the water which is basically a huge shark and when i mean huge i mean the length of two school busses.

After placing the megalodon on the ocean i though how can i possible make the surivors lifes more miserable so i thought why not place a t rex on the island.After placing everithing together I get this result 

30 second video activity #3

30 second video activity  

During this activity I was told by my media studies teacher to do a video with a partner. The video details were that it needed to be 30 seconds long and a challenge had to be overcome, however no dialogue is allowed to be in the video which made the creation process complicated. At first me and my partner struggled to find an idea in which we did not talk and overcame a challenge. We first had the idea that the video could be about the challenge of overcoming your bullies. Although the video about overcoming your bullies was going to be too long and with my lack of editing videos it was a clever idea and then an idea came to the mind of my partner. 

 

 

 

My partner thought about the video topic being if you study hard enough you can get a good grade on a test, so we started recording we grabbed packet from our folders that our teachers gave us to study and placed on a desk. Then one of us will sit at the desk with the packets on the desk and pretend that they were studying really hard while the other was recording. The second thing we did was simulate a fake test, so I recorded my partner writing on a piece of paper like he was talking an actual test, after that my partner recorded me form an over the shoulder to make a first person point of view that looked good in my opinion, while he was recording me i was grading fake test and put a  on his test to correlate with the topic of overcoming a challenge. 

The five photo story #2

The five photo story 

My media studies teacher told the class to create a story using 5 photos that would be put into our digital notebook. The idea that came to my mind was about someone falling on the stairs and getting back up and so i started recording. It was going to be a tough assignment to do by myself so i asked a friend of mine to help me and he did i took photos of him simulating falling down the stairs. 

My media studies teacher told us to be creative in the process by taking several types of camera shots.  

The plot   

Me and my friend went to the nearest stair to the classroom and started to brainstorm how to do the 5-photo story. First we did a photo of feet tripping as someone goes down the stairs, then the second photo was some falling, the third was my partner laying on the ground, the forth was an expression of pain in someone's face because they just fell down the stairs, and the last photo was my partner getting up and continue to walk but was in pain.
