This a film I recently watched associated with the theme that me and Tyler want to create of a guy going into the wrong crowd and dying at the end which would be a drama film, This movie Heaven knows what is also a drama film
Heaven Knows What (2014)
The film dives into the depths of realness and harshness without losing impact, showing the addictions that plague Harley and the toxic romance she has with Ilya. Harley, in search of love, even makes an attempt on her life early in the film to set the reader off on a downward spiral.
In the movie, Harley swings from drug addiction, living on the street, and belonging to a dysfunctional set of friends. She sort of strings in between meeting up with Mike, the drug dealer who gives her food and a bed, until the obsessive love for Ilya draws her back
Conclusion
The film is a true testimony of real and raw drama and emotional depth with character-driven storytelling. Heaven Knows What is allowed to show such emotions at times in a way that you will feel just a little bit of frustration, sadness, and unease over such life in Harley's world. It doesn't have expansive arcs of redemption or happy endings however it asks all viewers to deal with the dark truth of addiction or toxic relationships. .
